Last day touristing and it was a blast. I dig Ireland hardcore. I have to say, if you do visit Dublin (and I hope you do) make SURE you take a day and get out of the city. I cannot tell a lie. When I discovered Richard Fitzwilliam, I integrated him into the family.

BUT I DIDN'T REALIZE SO MUCH WAS NAMED AFTER HIM. Totally going to roll around on it all one day. As sanitary as that sounds.

Heheheh well I think you could roll around in the square and it would be perfectly sanitary. They might wonder just what was happening, o'course!

Loved your photos hun! They make me feel like going back soon. Of course I did do the book of Kells, but then I draw knotwork, so it was an artistic reason. I too became snap happy (I took nearly 200 photos just of Celtic knotwork gravestones) but then I noticed that everything was seen through some special filter in my mind's eye whilst I was there, since my photos refused to capture the magic & vibrant quality of the light over there.

The passionate Celts, so famed for art & poetry, & war.

Knotwork is seriously sexy! I wanted to buy some jewelry, but I managed to control myself ;)

I agree, the photos don't capture it at all. But they're a start. That view of Dublin Bay just...I don't think I will ever see anything so beautiful.
