reason for joining: this community is a great idea and i've actually got a few WIPs that i might need help with :) and i'll be glad to help someone else too, of course.
bit about your art/fanart past: well, i've been drawing since i could hold a pencil and after DH came out, i started drawing HP fanart :) mostly H/D, at first, but now I'm starting to get into rarepairs. mostly smut ;)

reason for joining: I used to be a member but then I deleted my art journal and moved homes! It was always so helpful and I am so so so happy that it's being revived. Artbeta is such an awesome resource!
bit about your art/fanart past: I work predominantly in bandom nowadays, mostly MCR. It's way too much fun. I started out posting fanart for the LotR and LotRPS fandoms, and then moved on to Harry Potter, Heroes, Supernatural, etc. I've been in bandom for over two years, though. thegaystarfish is a hugely silly bandom AU comic I update really, really infrequently, ha.

bit about your art/fanart past: i'm really into comic books, i started drawing about 6 years ago when i read "ghost world" by daniel clowes for the first time. i'm still learning but i love drawing and would love some concrit from other people.

reason for joining: heard about the comm through theopteryx, and I like providing and receiving art feedback.
bit about your art/fanart past: I've been in art classes for years, since I was a little kid, and now I'm in art school, so mostly I've just done "class projects". I've only recently started moving into fanart, mainly bandom/MCR. I mostly like working in pencil and acrylics, but I'm trying to learn how to better use pens and watercolors.
