Came via grav_ity's rec. I love how you blended all this disparate pieces of canon into a very plausible scenario of what could happen. I especially love the little moments (like the subconscious note of Ashley's Aurora mug trying to woo her out). And how both Helen and Nikola are out of their time now and...

Oooh. This is such a good fic--it feels entirely plausible to me, and I love that Helen has that weakness of needing things to be on her shoulders, and yet have that be the way that she avoids the real world.
