My sister's science textbook has a glossary in Spanish. Why didn't any of my science textbooks ever have glossaries in Spanish?

This seems like one of those things that right-wingers would flip out about, like the National Anthem-in-Spanish that was getting all the spotlight lately... LEARN YER DA-YUM ENGLISH! *headdesk*

Unrelated to the use of Spanish, but the choice of words in the glossary amused me: they defined "wind", but not "organism" (both of which were used repeatedly within the textbook).
