Hi all,

A number of new members of my flist mentioned, after reading my latest dark ficlet The Reunion, that they weren't aware that I ever wrote anything other than fluffy slash parodies.

While infrequent, I have dabbled in writing dark angsty fanfiction before. I once wrote a ficlet entitled Draco Decides To Die, which was my entry for

I love it, too. As much as dark fics are a fun change of pace, if I wrote them too often I would get seriously depressed. Now slash parodies, on the other hand, are a hell of a lot of fun to write, including, of course, my GOF parody.

The drabble you wrote with daylin - "His screams fill the night" was scarily succinct, a nicely tight piece of writing.

Thanks. It definitely sheds light on my dark side. Daylyn originally wrote a draft of that drabble which was dark, but no that dark. And I distinctly remember amping the angst way up.

I do too, and I need to finish it. Though I don't plan to post any more chapters until the fic is complete, because it isn't fair to make people reread 11 chapters just to get chapter 12 and then have to wait another six months for the finalle.
