Nomination Categories!
Welcome to the Official Nomination Post. Here you will find the entire list of categories in which you may nominate people for. You have until the end of the month, so feel free to take this time to look over everything and think about who you may want to nominate for an award!
I've included a legend with further explanations and examples of many of the terms you will see used. This is so nobody is confused as to what goes into which category.
If you have further questions, please just comment; I'm here to help! And HAVE FUN!
NOMINATION GUIDELINES:
○ Any member of Livejournal may nominate, regardless of whether they personally RP or not.
○ You may nominate up to five (5) journals per category. If you exceed that number, I will only take the first five listed.
○ You must include the username when you nominate. Putting "Adam Monroe from Heroes" is not specific enough in cases of multiple muses out there. If you do not know the journal of the player, just include the character journal.
○ You do not need to nominate for every category, simply leave it blank if you can't think of anything to put.
○ It is common courtesy in any competition to not vote for yourself, but if you choose to do so, I will not stop you.
THE "WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN?" LEGEND:
Canon Characters: Characters taken straight out of fandom who are established already in the show/movie/comic/etc.
Examples: Mary Winchester (Supernatural), Peter Petrelli (Heroes)
Fandom Original Characters: Characters that are originally created by the writer for part of a specific fandom in mind, but are not "canon" to aforementioned fandom.
Example: knowthenbreak of Batman (character of the very talented Lynn!)
Non-Fandom Original Characters: Characters that are entirely created by the writer, with no background or history that relates to any known fandoms.
Example: stolenseasons (character of the awesome Ferin!)
Fandom RPG: A Roleplay Community that is based around one chosen fandom that all characters played are part of. (Not all the characters have to be canon; fandom original characters are acceptable)
Multi-Fandom RPG: A Roleplay Community that is open to characters of all fandoms.
Original RPG: A Roleplay Community that is not based on any known fandoms, and all characters played within are completely original.
Mun: The writer of the character/the roleplayer/the player.
Muse: The fandom/non-fandom/original character.
