Lois had her suitcase all packed, there was a Army issued Humvee waiting for her at the parking lot at the end of the Causeway and she was ready to spend the next couple months back home with her father. Lugging a some furniture down the hall, John stopped at Lois' room. It was nearly halfway and he was already bored of carrying things down the stairs.

"You're not trying to leave before me, are you?"

"That's less than fun," John frowned. "Any tips for getting girls to fight in ways that are entertaining for us guys?"

[armybrat_lois]

"Alcohol or money," Lois said, grinning. "But I doubt Jaina would fall for either of those moves."

[missed_the_gate]

"Not since she swore off alcohol," he sighed. "Apparently we're bad influences on her that way."

[armybrat_lois]

"Hey, there's no 'we'. I had nothing to do with the incident in the shed," Lois said. "I'm a poster for responsible drunkenness."

Yeah...

[missed_the_gate]

"There's a we," John told her. "And I fully expect you to encourage some drunk dialing once you get back." Because he would laugh really, really hard at the two of them.

"Oh hey, you might get more than that," Lois teased. "I totally nailed a girl when the whole sex pollen thing happened. It was pretty awesome. Might try it again."

She was totally kidding but, hey, she was leaving. Might as well give him some nice thoughts before she left.

"...That is just not fair to say a few days before I don't get to come back to witness things like that." John didn't care if she was kidding or not. "Thank god your phone does video."

[armybrat_lois]

"Yes it does," she said. "If I get lonely on the flight to Germany I'll have the video of you dancing around to keep me company."

[missed_the_gate]

"Great. I get fifty percent if you ever sell the video," John decided.

[armybrat_lois]

"Oh I'd never sell it," Lois teased. "You weren't that good."

[missed_the_gate]

"Gee, I'm gonna miss you, Lois," John said, rolling his eyes.

[armybrat_lois]

Lois smirked. "You're not kidding anyone with the eye roll. You're totally going to miss me."

[missed_the_gate]

"Yeah yeah, like I'll miss that table in the hallway," he teased. "Have a good time in Germany."

[armybrat_lois]

"I'll try," Lois said. She held her arms out for a hug. "I'm going to need a more affectionate goodbye though."

"Oh fine, but don't go telling people I have feelings and things," John warned her, reaching out to give her a big hug.
