GENERAL INFORMATION
THE GAYMS ARE UPON US.
armer_gayms is a team-based challenge for the Merlin fandom.
The Teams
- There are 5 houses, each representing one of the five virtues of a knight. I.E.:
- Generosity - House of I'D ASK YOU FOR MONEY BUT I KNOW YOU DON'T HAVE ANY (Arms: SWORD) Head: scifijunkie
- Fellowship - House of STOP PRETENDING TO BE INTERESTING (Arms: FOOT) Head: graspthethorn
- Chastity - House of YOU'RE DRESSED (Arms: CUPBOARD) Head: leandergasped
- Courtesy - House of UNTIL THE DAY I DIE (Arms: GRAVE) Head: cherrybina
- Compassion - House of NOW I'M REHIRING YOU (Arms: GOBLET) Head: stardust_rain
- Each house is lead by one of the gayms mods. They will be in charge of making sure participants stick to the rules and have a good time.
- Participants will be sorted by answering questions listed in the sign-ups. The sign-ups will be open for one week.
The Challenges
- The Gayms consist of eight challenges over eight weeks for points. Each challenge will be hosted by a different mod.
- Challenges will be posted on Sundays. They will close that Friday and voting will go up.
- Challenge results will be posted the following Saturday.
- Bonus Challenges will be posted every other Wednesday and will close that Thursday. These will be for participation points that count towards your house's final score.
- Responses to Challenges will be in screened threads. Each team will have a comment started by their head of house, and their responses will be screened answers to that comment.
- Answers to the Challenges must be kept secret until after results are posted.
The Feasts
- Every Saturday, there will be a Feast.
- On weeks of Bonus Challenges, the Feast will be hosted by that week's Crown, as selected by the mods.
- On weeks of no Bonus Challenge, a mod will host the Feast.
- Feasts will typically have a theme, but anything Merlin-related goes in terms of content.
