Most reckless thingarlverdeMarch 13 2008, 12:23:56 UTC
Gosh I am so boring---I am trying to think of something I have done that is totally and completely reckless and it is pretty difficult. I think the most reckless thing I ever done was help my best friend run away from home to be with her boyfriend. I was 19 and she was 18 so of course we thought we knew everything. I actually drove her to the airport. We are in NY and he moved to Fl. Now that I think about it I CRINGE. Being a mom changes your perspective on reckless behavior. Her parents figured out what she did pretty much immediately after finding out she had run away and she came home within a week.
Yeah, the school is in an underpriveledge neighborhood, so I guess you are right 40 dollars is a lot of money. Makes me feel better.

OOooo a location questionarlverdeMarch 13 2008, 12:29:55 UTC
I really do love living in New York---there are so many great things here. It truely never sleeps and I am not just talking about Manhattan. I live in Queens which is about 20 minutes away from the city and we can ALWAYS find something that is open at all hours of the day and night. I also love the fact that we really do have corner stores and can go get a gallon of milk without getting in the car. I hate visiting friends and they say Lets take a quick trip to the store for milk and it ends into a 45 minute trip. Getting milk for me is literally a minute walk each way. There is also plent to see and do here. Something for everyone. Tons of parks, museums, shows--Broadway is the best--I have only seen a couple of shows but they are worth it

I really am pleased the way Guitar Hero turned out. Now that I think on it, it really could have been a huge disaster. Everyone had fun and everyone pretty much behaved themselves

PS. I'm guessing if your school is in that sort of neighborhood, it is likely low income? So I think raising $40 at $1 a play is pretty terrific.

Are you finding any good fics? I still haven't finished all of my reading either.
My question: what is your favourite book and why? Also, do you have a specific memory of that book?
