What are we on the same damn brain wavelength. I have been having the same feelings and troubles over the past week. Get your own wavelength *bonks you with his antlers.*

Don't worry about your troubles my friend, life goes on and usually for the better. I know quitting smoking can be really rough and I have seen you try it a couple of times and honestly you had the same problems then. I hope that you can make it and you know my number if you need anything.

Specifically which feelings and troubles are you experiencing that are the same?

Did you observe erratic mood swings last time I tried to quit smoking? Did the mood swings abate after a while or was I pretty much unstable the whole time until i started smoking?

Truthfully, i don't remember but it would be helpful to know so as to determine whether I should be seeing a psychologist, a psychiatrist, neither, or both.

More just meaning that over the past week I was having a bad week and also having erratic mood swings and such. As for the last time you tried to quit smoking I just remember you were having some troubles in the beginning.

Primary point I was trying to make was one of encouragement and letting you know if you need anything don't be afraid to ask. I have wanted to hang with you and stuff for a while now :)

I think we should have dinner soon.
Having been to the brink and back all too recently, I think we have a lot of similar things to share.

You might want to consider getting a script for Wellbutrin if you're finding you're having psychological changes while trying to quit smoking. It can be very effective.

I know how you're feeling. I'm trying to improve my heart-healthy lifestyle and taking my cigar smoking back to one per week. I even have "cigar days" written on my calendar. But it's not always easy. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Well, that's what the chantix is supposed to be for. It's supposed to bind to the nicotine receptors and both prevent uptake of nicotine, as well as provide the dopamine response that nicotine normally does.

The issue is that you replace one dopamine enhancement for another, nothing is really solved. Chantix may be great to get you off nicotine, but then you're addicted to chantix. The neurological addiction hasn't been addressed, only supplanted.

I kinda missed that bit of fine print. Just like everyone else who's desperate to quit smoking and looking for the miracle pill.

I should have had enough common sense to know that there is no miracle pill.
