So I havent touched a piece of art since, well... I cant even remember. Was feeling a little slack and I had nothing to do tonight so I figured hey why dont I finish one of the many sketches I started ages ago? And by ages ago I mean aaaaages ago, like 2007 ages ago...

Thanks, by the time I drew the legs and hip area I was like WAIT, I'M DRAWING A MAN OHNOES and then it was too late for poor cloud's masculinity XDDD

I havent even TRIED drawing that "thing" yet. But I imagine when I do it'll be all FAIL AT LIFE for the first few times, but practice makes perfect I guess. Too bad I dont practice enough pff.

That's adorable! And your drawing style is so clean! Whenever I scan a sketch into my laptop to work on it in photoshop it takes me *forever* to edit out smudges and eraser marks.

Thankyou! Yeah I have the same problem with sketches, but I rubbed this baby extra fastidiously than I usually do so I wouldnt have to clean it up later in photoshop :P

As much as I like the style, and the inking, those arms are really throwing me off, but an easy fix would be to perhaps, cross the arms over his chest, (lengthen the torso)

yeah, its because I initially drew him with his elbows bent back, but then I covered that with the furry thing and now it looks like he has stumpy arms, very stupid of me. Even though its going to annoy me for the rest of my life I figure I'll leave it as a lesson never to do it again, crappily-attempted foreshortening just doesnt work in this drawing style :/

points for trying, there's nothing more difficult than foreshortening, which is why just crossing the arms is an easier fix.
