I had a fairly good day at Big Central Elementary School, also known as Bratling Central. The three toughest classes, too. But hey! Two of the homeroom teachers are finally helping me out, which is very nice as they understand how to play their classes and I, only being there twice a month at best, really don't.

That's the thing that bothers me most about mass hysteria. Children tend to be extremely in tune with emotions... if you run around your kiddos panicking without explaining why, they're gonna freak out worse than you.

... I mean, how would you feel if the president/prime minister/person in position of power was like, "AAAAH, I'D TELL YOU BUT YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND, BE CAREFULLL..." I'd flip. D:

tl;dr Glad you cleared things up. They probably feel a lot better.

:| So I told this gaggle of ten-year-olds about how everybody fusses 'cuz it's new, but it's way less dangerous than the normal flu. And most of them have HAD that.

To an extent, I can see why it is considered more dangerous and worry worthy by officials. You don't have a cure or a preventative. Imagine if someone who was under chemo or whatever got it? They'd be gone, bam, done. Whereas with the normal flu, they at least have some assistance in fighting the thing.

And the fact that it's, what, May? And people are still being infected by a flu? Not good.
