Well, I don't eat the STEM stem, but that's just a little thing to chew on at the end. All the stuff inside the skin is fair game except the seeds, so far as I'm concerned, and Gusty has me wondering about the seeds now too.

I don't like the texture of 'em. I don't mind that they're a little bitter though. When I make applesauce, they go in too. If I'm just eating an apple, then no thanks.

They're not bitter! Maybe I just generally get sweet apples.

I eat as much as possible, which sometimes involves eating all but the very very end pieces and the seeds. 8D Tasty apples.

Then I usually compost the parts I can't eat. Motley is composting all foods now. O: So exciting.

O: So envirofriendly. There's no compost in our dining halls.

All of it. The seeds are actually the best part.

Really? Do you chew 'em up or what?

Oh yes. Savoring each and every one.

Also, I tend to chew the stem, although... y'know... don't swallow v. much of it since it is all like little wooden splinters.
