Gah.  I hate the new posting interface.  I want my userpics back at the bottom where they belong, and WHY does the cursor automatically have to be in the main box instead of the subject line?  But enough whining...it's here to stay, so I'll have to suck it up and get used to it when I'm not at home.

I talked to Gigi last night to confirm we'd be at ( Read more... )

It was chocolate chip. Yum. BIG chocolate chips too.

If you have an Apple Spice Junction deli in your area, definately give them a try.

you'll have to share the names of the restaurants, you know...

can I ask what size coat you will wear? I've got this real nice one I'll never fit into again, sixe XL, I believe, long and trimmed with fake fur

This one was Apple Spice Junction and it was to-die-for delicious. I also like Community Bakery and Downtown Deli. Starving Artist Cafe is decent but not enough of a selection for me. We also order from Boulevard Bread Co., and I've yet to find anything that appeals on their menu.

The one I have is a medium and has always fit okay except for being a wee bit short in the sleeves. Darn preggy-belly... Do you think the XL would fit preggy-belly? With our weather, you never know if we'll be freezing off and on all the way into March.

we've gotten something from Apple Spice Junction, but couldn't figure where it is located.
Downtown Deli has been done-to-death here. I like Starving Artist, but more to go and get away from the office, not bring it back.
I think the coat would work for the belly, as it more of an A-line, might be a little big on the shoulders. I'll have to pull it our and look at it. I bought it when I lost a bunch of weight, and its all back now.
I work in the Regions Bldg, how far away would you be if I brought it in next week?

Apple Spice is on University, I think. *looks it up on menu* 2000 S. University to be exact.

I'm near 3rd and Chester... definately close by during the workday, and I can hop down at lunch (12-1) if that's convenient for you. I forgot to say thanks earlier - thanks for checking on the coat and for thinking of it!

Big in the shoulders is fine with me... better big than tight. I usually have issues with big shoulders b/c I have to allow for chest size (and apparently you are supposed to be built like a football player if you have my bra size ha!)

I've got several old coats and jackets that used to belong to my mom. They're all way hella big on me. Want me to bring some by and see if you like any of them?

Frog's eye salad and cookies too??? Mmm mmm good ;-)

Good luck with FIL babysitting. It seems like guys are a lot more lax with their boundaries when it comes to babysitting. I still worry a bit when my husband takes our girl in public cause he lets her run around and she goes farther away from him than I'd like. Makes me nervous...

I love your icon, btw.

It's actually more of his wife (hubby's stepmom) who watches the crap in front of them. That or her grown twice divorced can't afford his own place son. FIL is likely to bore them to death with WW2 or westerns... which are usually passable at the boys' ages. But since FIL refuses to enforce the rules with wife/stepson, it kind of makes it his fault.

Ever had ambrosia? It's like that plus these itty bitty pasta bits that are similar to tapioca. It does LOOK like lil frog eyes kinda.

In a nutshell, it's pineapple tidbits, mandarin oranges, pineapple juice, whipped topping, acini di pepe pasta (or tapioca) and some other fruit salad type stuff. Some recipes put marshmellows and/or coconut, but today's yumminess didn't have either.
