I really love how you've fleshed out these characters and gave them all this depth and nuance. It's what PPP could have been - if it weren't a simple feel-good Disney movie. I'm especially impressed with how much more complex you've made them both, while sticking to their characterizations and the plot so closely.

Anyway, this was so very awesome, and I can't wait to read more. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for this comment, really. I agree, PPP's premise had the potential to be a masterful story, but of course, you don't really need that with Disney. I'm just adding a little depth to the characters, is all.

The princess lets out her frustrations in a sigh - but it isn’t enough. After staring at her pillow for half a minute, she punches it once, fiercely, then snaps back into her erect position, as though it didn't just happen.

LMAO

I love that Carter feels weird whenever Rosie making a physical contact on her and at the same time kinda enjoy touching Rosie. And I love that they studies each others faces when someone is busy at something. Hmmm.. Love the Mr.Mason and Rosie scene too. Lots of love to this!!And I'm a sucker to "hate to love" stories.. so please post soooooon!

Thanks for the update!
Aww, poor Carter. Nice twist on Carter's mother. Most people assume that she's dead in their fanfic, so this is a fresh take.

Really glad you liked my take on her mother. I felt that during that dinner scene, when Carter and Mason were discussing how they, "hadn't had a home cooked meal in -" "Forever." "....right." It had a more somber and regretful tone, rather than a sad and remorseful one.

It was a really interesting take and now I have yet another excuse to rewatch the movie! :)
