From my feed stack today: compelling studies that taxes are either a) too high, or b) too low?

Or to boil it down one step further: would you rather be rich or rather be happy?

99% of the time, I feel very comfortable in my decision to work less and play more. I admit that I get a tiny hint of jealous that some people my age are already very well off. But it's all in your perspective, too. I don't work full time, I have a very nice (if small) home, and a great man napping on my couch, and two wonderful (if schizophrenic) dogs. I have a G_dson who I get to be with, and watch grow, and a niece that I have time to talk to almost daily. So I feel pretty well off, all in all.
