Making Bebek Betutu (Balinese roast marinated duck, aka whole chicken (in this case) with far too many chillies up its bum).

Never steamed meat before - fingers crossed.

Certainly did! Texture was unusual - very soft - but it cooked through beautifully, lovely taste too (surprisingly delicate given the strength of the ingredients).
