Doubled the meds; rode to work - fine. Took the reliever despite no symptoms in order to pre-empt any problems at lunchtime, and rode around the village - fine. Then cleaned a little at lunchtime after sitting with the resters - all fine ( Read more... )

I am loving that picture, it looks like an abstract teddy bear. I'm also impressed that the artist's name is David; it's nice to see some normal, easily spelled and pronounced names being used today.

I always intended to call any kid of mine Hunter or Saxon :)

Oh, we get our share of Tijuanas (inevitably pronounced TeeYAAAna? as in CharlEEEEEne? - note the inflection) and Taylahs and Keishas and Logans and Breeannas and Kaylas and Kians and whathaveyou, although (judging by school lists I've seen for the nieces/nephews) many fewer than in a less rural environment.

It's not exactly a culturally diverse town yet, so trad/biblical names still get a good run.

Have a look at this list of Unique Baby Boy Names . Not a Saxon to be seen but Hunter comes in at #63 - while in 70th place we have Kai.

The reliever meds might not help if you have a deeper problem.

I had asthma caused by acid reflux, and none of the damn asthma meds (..and I was on a bunch for awhile, singulair, advair, etc.) did anything at all for me until I "fixed" the underlying problem.

...but *hugs*, and I hope it gets better for you!

Thank you. Hug needed a bit at the mo. Probably more than I like to admit actually. :)

I'm certainly getting quite itchy to see the specialist - this "treat it as if it is until we know it isn't" thing" seems to have several major drawbacks ;p. On the other hand, as you say - if nothing works, then that's got to help point to *something*.

Advair (US) = Flixotide (Oz) - fluticasone IIRC. And I'm pretty sure being doped up on it all the time isn't helping.
