Well, almost. Main Range trail, bushbash, not a lot to see other than the "little brown buggers", one maybe-russula (very small, not photographed). On the other hand, went over our 2 acres when we got back and found a big (probably) yellow stainer wot popped up under the pepper tree overnight. See icon :) Walk was enjoyable though - 29 degrees in the open, bit lower in forest. Birds everywhere.
So, for the record more than anything - today's lot. Growing in grass/litter in the median strip of a slowly-becoming-overgrown fire trail, 1-2 cm diameter.
Rooting Shank perhaps? book illus. looks like a flatter cap (?)
