Bros Before Ho Ho Hos

Ten days ago, I was in town for a guided walk around London's Inns of Court, where barristers, the original bigwigs, do their stuff. Early on we passed a favourite restaurant that I've never been to, Pu's Kitchen - now Pu's Brasserie. Nearby were some bags of rubbish, and among them a Christmas tree. We had a particularly lovely day, thank you :) I propose you use the quietest outdoor day of the year for something you wouldn't ordinarily get the peace to do. Empty Street Photography or leaving tiny clay models of something odd glued around the city (one I particularly liked was tiny purple rabbits).

I was tempted by the idea of investigating deserted streets. But it's still terribly icy locally - it's got worse over the past week, not better - and going out didn't seem like a good idea on balance. I picked a few films and programmes out of the TV listings, and the rest of the day took care of itself. Here's hoping that the particular loveliness has continued for you and your kin. :)

Whatever the occasion you'll bound to see a few Ho, ho, hos...if you look hard enough and have more than a big of silver ;)
