Something that Inoo really hated was rain. He didn’t understand how people seemed really delightful when it came to rain. It was wet, cold and well, muddy. And Inoo hated every single one of it.
He always preferred a white and warm sky to be exact. He loved the breeze that blew his hair and warm sunlight that touched his skin.
That’s why he really didn’t understand what it was that made him looked so dam happy about playing under the rain.
Did he know it was cold?
Well, he supposed an idiot couldn’t get sick anyway.
Wasn’t it?
“Inoo chan!! Come and join me.!!” that idiot was waving his hand so enthusiastic at him while laughing so hard.
“ne ne Yuya. This is already night. Come on, we need to go home now. Could you please come here and dry your clothes. Don’t you feel cold at all?” Inoo was running out his patient. He really needed to go home now. But that rain was not going to stop anytime soon.
“Inoo chan, come on. We can go walk home under the rain anyway. Don’t be such a grumpy old man.” Takaki was grinning like a child and Inoo sighed for like a hundred time this evening.
What on earth he did wrong to get stuck with Takaki right now. It was already half pass seven and there’s nothing he wanted most than went home and curled up in his warm blanket.
“I’m not grumpy. I just want to go home. And would you please stop splashing water at my face.” Inoo said with irritated sound. Did Takaki really want to test his patience? That guy, he would pay.
But Takaki just laughed more at Inoo’s expression and decided to tease him a little more.
“Takaki!! I said stop it. God, you are child sometimes. Takaki!!!” Inoo was caught off guard when suddenly Takaki grabbed his arm and dragged him to get soaked under the rain too.
“hey, it’s not that bad, isn’t it? Can you feel the fresh water on your skin?” he was showing Inoo his child-like smile that in normal situation could melt his heart away. But now wasn’t normal situation and Inoo felt cold all over his body. The only thing he wanted to do was to smack away those smile on his handsome face.
“no, the only thing I feel is wet. I want to get under the shelter now, and you need to. Or else you will get sick.” Inoo had this determine tone as he spoke and dragged Takaki away to his previous shelter, while Takaki was pouting behind him.
“come on Inoo chan, we already wet. Why don’t we walk home now? It’s not like it will make any different if we wait any longer.”
Inoo could practically hear his sulking voice behind him but chose to ignore him instead. He would not hear any stupid idea Takaki threw at him. It was useless and pointless. Takaki was being stupid anyway. They would get a major flue if they go home all wet liked this.
God must hated him right now, he was sure of it. As the rain was getting heavier as the time flew. Inoo groaned in frustration as he watched the water was being poured down from above. Inoo was considering getting a taxi but he doubted at that time there would be still taxi around. Plus his phone’s battery was empty. What a terrible evening.
“ne ne Inoo chan. Do you know why I love rain so much?”
“what? How do I know that?”
Didn’t Takaki understand that he was in a bad mood right now? Or he just wanted to annoy him more. Gezz!
“just guess?” Takaki looked at him with his shining eyes and beautiful smile that made Inoo’s hearth skipped a beat or six.
“I..I don’t know. Is it because you are stupid?”
He said while turning his face away from his friend. He didn’t need distraction now. Not when there’re only two of them at this moment. Inoo might do something ridiculous slash dangerous if Takaki started looking so cute and innocent.
“you’re no fun. I’ll tell you anyway. Because in the end of the day no matter how heavy the rain falls, the bright day will always come. I love the rain because I’m looking forward the white and warm day to spend with you.”
Inoo could felt his face warm with embarrassed. How could he do this to him? Looking so cute and clueless about everything but he managed to make Inoo went crazy at how innocent he was.
With a growl he turned his face to face Takaki then grabbed his shoulder and kissed him.
Stupid!!stupid!!
His mind was screaming that word again and again. Takaki might hate him after this but Inoo couldn’t hold himself anymore. With Takaki looked so damn hot on his wet clothes, so damn cute with hair was plastering on his cubby face. Inoo never saw someone so beautiful like him.
But then he felt Takaki returned his kiss. They were pushing at each other, to get closer, to get more of each of them. Takaki’s hand held onto Inoo back so tight and Inoo’s settled at the other boy shoulder. They were kissing for like eternity. No one really wanted to pull back. Not when they started feel dizzy and warm. To warm for Inoo liking, but he didn’t want to let it go. Not when he knew Takaki was returning this, his feeling that he’s been holding back for years. So he pushed harder and bit his lips. He heard Takaki whimpered and moaned against his lips. And Inoo wanted more and more, he didn’t intent to let him go. Never.
But then he felt Takaki clutched his back harder. His nail were hurting him, so Inoo pulled back, just for millimeter, and looked at his flustered face. Takaki’s face was so red, his lips were swollen, and his breath was ragged. He looked so beautiful that Inoo want to eat him again, to feel those delicious lips.
“wha…what’s that for?”
He was breathless and still red as tomato.
“that’s for saying the most dumb thing your idiotic mind could think about.”
Inoo chuckled when those beautiful lips formed a cute pout. Seriously, he was twenty already, how could he looked so cute while pouting like that. This should be illegal.
“but that’s true. I don’t mind to do dumb thing for you if I can see your beautiful smile in the end. I love your smile because it reminds me of white and sunny day Inoo chan.”
Takaki was giving him his charming smile that made Inoo always forgave his stupid act. He was so screw up. Yabu was right; he was lost in the first place if the competitor was Takaki. Unconsciously, he did things to make the other boy happy. He always let Takaki did his way for everything. Even now, when he clearly hated rain he still let the other pulled his arm and run under the heavy rain to get home.
What a dumb thing to do, but for Takaki, Inoo wouldn’t mind doing it.
