Nice. I love the visitation from the recently dead/prophetic vision thing. It works very well for Roslin at that stage of the arc.

And while I've never been able to bring myself to /like/ Cain (she's too inhuman, beyond even the machines, which I suppose is the point), I do like the interaction here, and that even her shade is lying about how much she cares/cared for Gina.

Very nice, indeed.

Thanks!

I adore Cain, particularly after seeing Razor.

You fit Lauras character very well. I can imagine this scene happen in the 'show-relaity'.

I really enjoyed this. I agree that Laura is spot on and I think you've managed to make the pairing work. I haven't seen all of Razor yet but I'm enjoying seeing another side to Cain, which this fits in with.

Oh, dude, I completely missed this on my flist! Thank you so much! :D

This is made of awesome. I love the association of Cain with the Amazons, which works on so many levels. The vision is really fitting, not only in the idea of the flag over the coffin, but also the whole being wrapped up in the myth of the fleet idea.

The "everyone I cared for is dead" part works on levels too- I appreciate levels. :D And I love that Cain was still fighting (and fucking!) to the end and beyond.

Thank you for picking this up; I'm really thrilled with it! :D

I'm glad you liked it! I was having some issues with getting it written, and really wanted to work both of your prompts into it, but the sex just wasn't quite happening. I blame my Roslin muse on that, btw... *veg*

I actually sat down to re-watch Pegasus and Resurrection Ship 1 & 2 to try to get more info for this one...

And yeah, Cain and the Amazons seemed such an easy leap to make. Particularly when you think of both Shaw and Starbuck all but idolizing the woman.
