Writer's Block: Comic Instinct
Yes - or at least, I think my dog does. He seems to take great pleasure in rummaging in the bin and spilling wrappers all over the floor. And whenever he does a 'trick' - the term used in it's loosest sense - he opens his mouth and it looks like he's laughing.

Writer's Block: When I Was Young
There seemed to be a lot of stuff around when I was little that isn't around anymore - think flowery leggings, lol. I think the thing I miss most is the TV - I was the world's biggest Thomas the Tank Engine fan (not a boy's programme :P ) and I even had themed pyjamas. Not to mention things like Old Bear and Wizardora - those were the days!

Writer's Block: It Sounds Better When You Say It
Gotta love some of those Irish expressions - 'sláinte an bhrádain'* anyone? Hope I've spelled that right now. :P
Also 'Ciao' from Italian. Sounds sort of elegant and classy - plus you can use it for hello and goodbye, so it's pretty useful too. :)
*the health of a salmon. They're just soooo healthy!

It's got to be 'On Beauty' by Zadie Smith. I got it for Christmas 2007 (had to count back there, seems a long time ago now) along with 'White Teeth'. I read WT first, then OB, and found the second one better. Just a small question - what is a meme? I've stolen one off Caitríona but still not entirely sure what exactly it is...Anyway, this is a 'book meme', apparently - seems to be a list of stuff I've read, stuff I want to read, and stuff I didn't finish reading....
