How does this interplay with #2?

Damn you and your hard questions! :) There are many ways I could relate these (most of which would be more rhetorical than true)... at first thought, it is that I am highly capable in how I react to what is requested of me, but lack the experience to appropriately judge whether I *should* react. But really, I'm not sure they play together in a direct way. I think they're more like the seats on a ferris wheel - one is closer to the surface than others at a given time.
