omg! I love this fic!! I have to say this again, because I really love this story! And it's a 100000000000 times better than the show at the moment!!

HE PROPOSED!!! WWWAAAAHHHH and it was just great! and fluffy but in a really really good way!!

*sigh* So so perfect. And once again the right thing to keep my mind of things, that bug me. of people praising this latest installment (A & B). In addition to all the wonderful things the other posters have pointed out, I'd like to say that the part I appreciate most is Meredith's slow but growing acceptance of her moments of happiness.

This is the kind of growth I looked forward to after her near-death experience in the ferry arc and never got. Not a sudden metamorphosis into Suzy Sunshine (what Shonda seems to think we want) or a perpetual black hole of dark and twistyness with ineffectually flailing attempts to escape (what Shonda seems intent on giving us), but a gradual willingness to trust in the professed good wishes of others. Thank you for rescuing us from our Thursday night gloom fests.

Thank you so much :) I've really enjoyed giving Meredith some room to spread her wings in this story. Honestly, I wrote this story from the standpoint of fixing Derek, but along the way, I managed to fix Meredith, too, which has been really fun and challenging for me.
