Wow. There are no words.

Such a breathtaking proposal. Not disgustingly sappy and unrealistic, but fitting, and full of little Meredith-and-Derek things that made it unique and special and perfect. It is SO nice to see them each reaching towards their happy ending.

I think we all needed that. :) Thanks so much for writing something so beautifully poignant.

This is so dammm good it makes me ache. I can so see Derek doing all this in my minds eye. The Stewie banter, the lightning bug refs, Mer not even feeling the cold anymore coz Derek and his words warm her up so much, Stewart...there is so much to love I have no idea where to start.

...and DAMM Derek smells good where ever he goes ! I SO want a whiff. More than a whiff. Sigh...

This was great! You had me smiling throughout the whole thing! As soon as everyone was blocking Mer from leaving the kitchen, I knew he was going to propose. I loved all of the interactions, and of course the Mer/Der, but my favorite part was the last line. Perfection! Please post the last Christmas part soon! I can't wait!

Thank you! I really wish the show would come back to this. Flirty and funny and amusing, like it was in the beginning with MerDer. They've shown they still have a sense of humor, at least. I'm just waiting for the romance to come back.

God, if I was more of a crier . . . I actually inherited some pretty strong crying genes from my mom's side of the family, but my dad seems to have diluted them a bit. But back to the point. If I were more of a crier, I'd be crying buckets right now. And I'm at work, so that wouldn't be too good. Gosh, what a proposal!!! I should copy that bit and send it to my boyfriend for inspiration. Gorgeous work, chica!!!!
