Omi...well, let's ignore the soft spot of "first cosplayed character". I definitely like Omi as a character, largely because of the identity issues that make up, like, all of his character development. Character development? In Weiss Kreuz? Not much, as far as I can remember... I think it's the personality he seems to display (normal genki teenage boy) despite the fact that there's all that assasin training and whatnot underneath.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
Given that most of the plot of the first half of the series is centered around his family members, I figure it's safe to say yes.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?Omi...oh man. I definitely don't relate to the stuff he goes through so much, but the way the ground kinda gets pulled out from under him identity-wise there? I feel for the kid, really I do. Yeah...which family member was it that pimped Omi out? Can't remember, and Nate won't watch it with me at all.

I like that Momo's a relatively straightforward teenage boy in contrast to most of the rest of the PoT cast. I mean, aside from looks I can BELIEVE Momo's thirteen or so. Also, he sings J-pop while riding his bike (despite what the anime would have us believe). That's just...gah.

Only so much as he wins matches so Seigaku can advance.

Not really. I like cheering him on though.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
Eh, at this point I mostly ignore it. It's not that it's fantastically wanky (not that I see at any rate), but there's just too many darn camps of ships that I'm not interested in (and not enough fun gen fanfics...).
