I've a friend or two up here who goes to Otakon every year and occasionally tries to wheedle me into going.

........still not going, but if you go let me know and I should set it up so you can meet him/them, if only for the sheer novelty of Virginia Friends meeting New York Friends, which entertains me to some degree.
