I know it might not mean a lot to some, but Alex died at approximately 7:20 pm. We placed her in a box, wrote a few words on the inside and cushioned her with some tissue. Audrey dug a small hole for her directly underneath one of our stone steps in the back patio and we buried her while U2's "The Sweetest Thing" was playing on the background. (

Oh no! Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't even know she was sick (?). *big hugs* I've always thought of her every time I listen to "Alex Chilton", actually.

I'm sorry to hear about Alex. We just lost our hamster not too long ago (the 2nd of a pair... the Lenny of our Lenny & Squiggy). Their lives are so short. It's hard on the emotions.
