I had typed this in response to the other posting...

"omg no!!! You are not judgemental (nor elitist)! I love those indie movies, too! While I do like my Bolly, I prefer the other kind (well, I might be judgemental and elitist, too. :P)

I've seen Matrubhoomi and was blown away by it. I also watched the first half of Chingaari. I have it, so I can finish watching it soon. Though, Chingaari seemed pretty mainstream...? It was still good...just like Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Maara.

Thanks for that list of suggestions, too :) There's also Devaki, 15 Park Avenue and My Brother...Nikhil.

do you know if any of the gay-establishment newspapers even covered this? A couple weeks ago they were way the fuck too busy covering their own shameful endorsement of gangsta daley...
