My DVD copy of my VHS version of Highlander is apparently dead. Which sort of figures, I guess; the DVD is my second copy of the film (the VHS being the first), and as we all know, there can be only one.

Let us now mourn the passing of the Highlander. May its immortal soul find rest, as it apparently does not want to live forever.

I'm mourning the passing of Highlander...but does that mean that you've won the prize, since you killed it?

Well, I'm not entirely sure who killed it. Either its very own DVD-R-ness, madtapa's DVD player, or myself. I suppose I'll find out when I find myself to be immortal, or if the DVD player never dies.
