Fanfiction - Trucco gets it!

Another blizzard, so I was checking out YouTube for any Michael Shanks video from th Basauri 2.0 convention this weekend.  I found this video of Michael Trucco answering a question about fanfiction, specifically slash.  I thought his answer was great.  Fanfiction, videos, etc. expands the fan experience for a show. IMHO.  It sure does for me.

I think I read that blog...it was a great article. I always think it was a double edge sword finding out about fanfic in the mid 90's when I got my first computer and started watching the X-Files;) I think my master's thesis would have been completed a lot quicker without it;)

Fanfic writers do seem to get a bad rap outside the "circle" but there are some wonderful writers out there that can write some amazing stories. I just have to give better feedback...its the least I can do for all their hard work. It was so cool to give feedback in person to you!

OT - did you see Nathan Fillion on Letterman this week? He was great and so cute! But what is up with him being second to Paris Hilton. Ugh!!!
