I really loved your vivid descriptions of Ryoma using the ice in a way that's probably not Buchou-approved. It was well-phrased and totally within Ryoma's personality to drive Tezuka crazy like that. And Ryoma arriving early! Tell me he didn't plan this whole thing. After all, he asked for ice water. :D

The only thing I kinda questioned was why Ryoma would want to stop playing tennis, even if it was really hot outside. But maybe it's only because almost every other author portrays him as eating, drinking, and breathing tennis. But I agree there's more to life than tennis like driving Tezuka into frustration with something as simple as ice.
