- When prepping a horse to ride, short cuts are rarely useful, and usually counter productive.

- That little voice is in your head for a reason. It is right far more often than you are.

Thankfully, a moment of stupidity failed to ruin an otherwise wonderful weekend.

What a world we live in where it is faster and easier to type a "note to self" and make it available to the world than it is to write it on a piece of paper and put it in your pocket. Heh!

So, are we going to be filled in on the details, or shall our imaginations wander?

My ego may permit me to do so at some point, but suffice to say I was getting my horse ready to ride, took a shortcut, and wound up 4 feet in the air and then flat on my back. And scared the bejeezus out of my wife.

And you never know how much work your forearm muscles do until you injure them.
