Ordo Hereticus

After the cease of editing ability, I finally broke down and downloaded the file for Project AnthraXX so I could make the rest of the updates I had. Since its growth spurt, the project has taken on a huge back-story related to the witches. As the story is supposed to center on Ms. Brown and Ms. Canina, I'm thinking I may reserve most of it for a special side story, as with Ms. Riku's. You can see that I've laid the foundation for it in the files section.

Again, I'm treading on shaky ground. I don't portray God and His followers as the bad guys, nor as the good guys. Also, this is just my version of the story, so I've picked and chosen which elements fit it best from canon, apocrypha, and pagan mythology, including some ideas that didn't appear until the middle of the second millennium Ano Domini. Some specific decisions I made:

1. God doesn't show His divinity on-panel. I've focused more on the angels, and His will is reported mostly by "Harbinger" Gabriel.

2. Adam and Ms. Eve are rather dark-complected. Milton says that Eden was on the Tigris and Euphrates, which matches history's "cradle of civilization" and the Holy Land of the three Abrahamic religions, so it stands to reason that they are genetically closer to their earliest children. (Of course, Milton also says that Ms. Eve was blonde, which illustrates how I pick elements selectively.)

3. Contrary to Milton, I'm putting "carnal knowledge" into the "post-apple" category.
