this both sucks & blows
so it was my brother's birthday on the 16th & he wanted to go to sonic.
we got a turtle truffle blast and ultimate meat & cheese breakfast burrito (him) & an oreo blast and ultimate meat & cheese breakfast burrito (me).
first the worker had a hard time hearing me order though the speaker & i had to repeat myself several times.
then a worker (the same one?) come out & says they can't get enough ice dream out of the machine for the blasts. but they can do a sundae or a milkshake. so we both get peanut butter shakes.
she brings out the shakes & says she refunded them (i paid with a debit card). the shakes are mostly milk, peanut butter and whipped cream.
we move on to the burritos & see that they have tomatoes & jalapenos. we're pretty sure we got the wrong things. i hit the call button & the worker says "he must've made the super sonic burritos."
so, after awhile she brings out the correct ones and leave us the wrong ones. we eat the ones we wanted, but they are very mediocre. we're having the wrong ones for breakfast tomorrow (minus the tomato & jalapenos).
later, after checking on-line, we see that the full cost hast been refunded (pending). so we got it all for free (yay?!). but my brother said it wasn't worth it.
i hate to be one of those people complaining about how the quality of fast food has gone down, while the price has gone up. but it's true.
we're seriously considering not bothering to eat out for our birthdays next year.
