Why is it so hard for human beings to end relationships with other human beings? Why do people who aren't friends anymore still go through the motions? Why does an abused housewife stay with her abusive asshole husband? Is it because people prefer the familiar to change? I think I understand you resistance to leave holoplankton in the mud face-down now. Comfortable. That's something that I learned today. Sometimes, what is comfortable for us is not always best for us. I was thinking about everything that I talked about in the counseling session, all of my stressors, and I completely understand how you feel about holoplankton now. I'm glad you understand now. I hope we both make better decisions for ourselves in the future. Seems we both need to stop worrying about that which we have no control. In the words of Harvey, "Affect the things you can!"
