Yeah, I don't think you can really write (CB member)/(CB member) of any length without acknowledging the influence of the other Celestial Being members. Especially in Lockon's case--for him, Setsuna is going to come first (and for Neil, Lyle is going to come first). But that doesn't mean there isn't a story to be told between him and Tieria, and that's what I wanted to do.

I'd also be really flattered to have fanart drawn of this! Let's see...Tieria being tickled? If that strikes your fancy.

You seriously get my love for writing this. Not that I haven't told you all the way through, but it bears repeating: I love this fic so much. It's wonderfully well written. Your characterisation is to die for and I love the calm, thoughtful feel of the whole thing. (The title, actually, is pretty apt, because the subtlety that you've used to put this together is just hnnnngh.)

I wasn't quite sure what the big conclusion was going to be, but I love it. Lockon is changing. I was initially expecting a huge, sappy, 'I love you' scene, but this is actually a million times more heartwarming.

I don't think there ever will be a huge, sappy, "I love you" scene for these two, even in this universe--Tieria has expressed his gratitude, which is the important thing, and Lockon will never believe his feelings approach Tieria's enough to warrant it from him--which is actually okay, because Tieria doesn't need it. He just needs Lockon.

There may yet be spinoffs; I do have a few ideas. Some of my more sappy ideas can take place here--I was thinking something about one of Marina's orphanage kids turning out to be a tech genius and Tieria adopting them onto the moonbase and realizing only belatedly that this makes him sort of a parent. We'll see what happens.

And I don't mind at all. ;)
