Last night, for the first time in over a month, I fell asleep while it was still dark outside and without extra lights on in the bedroom. Then, I woke up without an alarm while it's still light out. Glee!

I don't ask much out of life, just little things like not having to set the alarm to watch prime-time television.

Honestly, as much as I might like to say otherwise, I'm kind of glad it's not something that came up explicitly in the books, because it's not at all germane to the story. On the other hand, I'm definitely glad that it's an acknowledged part of the character.

I am getting really sick of cold, damp weather. Yesterday, when I left for work, I had to peel two inches of slush off my car.
