Today, I had the opportunity to do something I never would have imagined a few years ago. Fiancé's dad and younger brother have spent a lot of time over the years building and running model trains.

I used to think of model trains as hand-sized cars on a table. Theirs are a bit bigger.

Apparently, while I was busy doing homework, the internets got talkative! I've ended up at skip=60 on LJ and skip=260 on DW!

I'll be skimming to catch up, but if something monumental happened, let me know. I may not catch it on my own.

For my part, I'm still crazy busy, but it should get a little better after next week.

I've realized, recently, that there's a very good reason that I've never quite known what to call these things I get. The symptoms never really quite matched with anything else. The closest correlation is probably a panic attack; they come on suddenly, hit like a ton of bricks, and I may very well sit there shaking and hyperventilating. The thing ( Read more... )
