Very troubling thing I saw - armed guard station in a public library!

Yesterday Sue and I went to a meeting dealing with poverty (one put on and attended by some of my colleagues). It was held in a rather new public library in a poorer section of town (in Ybor City in Tampa Florida

I got a message when I commented about this elsewhere... the guy wanted armed guards in his libraries - to get rid of "the Homeless" and "Breeder Mothers". He claimed that they made the libraries potentially dangerous.

I guess I should expect that in this country - bigotry no matter which way you turn.
