Being a crime fighter demands a lot of energy.

It's a hard job.

Clearly, it's a job for cake.

Hey, I don't know about you, but I think I'd like that protocol put into effect for me personally. I could get used to, "Behold! The angry one! Feed her donuts and watch as she mellows!"

Have you seen Bane in Secret Six recently? He's not that evil. Like ... Catman evil, you know what I mean? I think he's quite hilarious, actually. I quote, "Scandal should eat. She needs to pay better attention to her diet. Less alcohol, more whole grains".

I want YOU to read Secret Six. Join us. Join ussss.

LOL, I'm reading bits of Secret Six in scans_daily to get a feeling of the series. I love Bane, and I want to see him thrive! I was very unhappy with Catman punching Batman and telling him 'this is from Bane' or whatever. What? What? Bane wants to punch Bruce, he can search Bruce up and punch him and tell him 'what's up, dude, here, have some donuts'. Bane knows Batman is Bruce Wayne! I'm all confused. I like him Catman-evil, though. That's the way I like him best! So I'm going to blame that punch on Catman.

And I want that protocol applied to me as well. I apply it to my coworkers whenever possible. If someone throws a hissy fit, I offer cookies. It is well known cookies make everything better! I will be one hell of a spoiling aunt one day.

I will read Secret Six. I trust in your good judgment. If this blows up in my face I will be shocked and appalled and will say 'Yaz!! this is all her fault!'.

As was his line about Scandal's father, which the other guys completely misunderstood. Perhaps on purpose.

What I love about about that scan is Batman's feet on the meeting's table.
You know there's a little voice inside him saying "Neener neener, I put my feet up and Alfred can't stop me!"

Bruce/donut is adorable.

LOL, they are acting like such kids in that scene, J'onn is *on* the table, and John is staring at his ring all 'lalalaalaaa I'm gonna make me a green stripper with this', and Wally has his feet on the chair... very professional, Justice League. Very professional.

Bruce/donut otp!

Hehe, that's fabulous. I can definitely get behing a sugar-happy Bruce. I love his expression with that donut.

(First panel is Dick, third panel is Bruce, seventh panel is Dick again.. the art doesn't help...)

Thanks, I couldn't tell who was who. I only got Tim because of his spiky hair.

And Cass *really* is happy with that sandwich...

It's an Alfred sandwich! Wouldn't you be?

That is very true. I bet his sandwiches are fabulous. Now I'm hungry thinking about it. I wish we all had an Alfred around. Bruce is so lucky!

Quick and easy satisfaction! Bruce will take those donuts, thanks! I just love his expression there, it cracks me up.

You can tell Tim is the smaller one and Cass is the girl. Bruce and Dick look almost the same, except Dick's hair is slightly longer and he's not wearing the Batsuit. Not really great art, though I appreciate Bruce not looking a bazillion years old, like in other batbooks when he's next to the boys.

Cass loves the sandwich. I guess she decided to wait for the sandwiches instead of digging on the donuts? I don't know. I don't think the rest of them would refuse the sandwiches, donuts or not. Vigilantes need calories. Om nom nom.

LOL at Diana baking and the reactions of everyone to it! And is Wally's remark about "I'm afraid to try it, and I'm afraid not to try it" about her cooking or the vibrational effect? I'd like to think it's about Diana's cooking, lol.

Sigh. Batman/pastries is such a happy OTP. Superboy Prime better not have retconned him into a health food nut!

I think wally's remark is about her cooking, lol. You don't want to refuse Diana's cooking, but.. do you really want to try it? Do it, Wally!

If Superboy Prime retconned something as brilliant as this, then this is clearly not the best of all possible worlds!

*grin* Can you imagine if Batman and J'onn went into sugar withdrawal at the same time? Somebody better be on hand with the cookies! Though ... I think I agree with Flash/GL regarding Diana's. Uh, let J'onn try it first.

They do look so ... relaxed, though. Batman, feet on the table, and down in the Manor Alfred's butler-sense is tingling ...

Thanks! That cheered me right up!

Batman and J'onn being grumpy and bitchy because there are no cookies or sweets or anything to appease them in the Watchtower is cracking me up. Cookieeees!! I laughed so much with Flash and GL in that moment. It's just.. odd, to see Diana come out with pastries out of the blue. She.. was feeling worried for Flash so she baked? what? Let's have the invulnerable guys try it first, yeah.

LOL! I love the idea of Alfred frowning and being all 'Somewhere, Master Bruce is doing something undignified. I shall scold him when he returns.' And Bruce would know Alfred knows, and be all 'how could he know???'. Ahh, batfamily X) I'm glad these could cheer you up!
