Oh, I love Clark doing research - doing detective work! :P Awesome.
He touched the eye-patch absently and then shook his head, eyeing the steel backdoors of the kitchen, the most mystifying of places. In five years, the secrets of the kitchen had only grown, denying him clarification.
*flails* I think this was my favorite line. Hee!! *glomps Bruce* :D
“Down, boys. Daddy has work to do,” he said to the pair of Great Danes, smiling at the way their blue eyes stared adoringly at him.
*squees over the dogs* One of them has to Ace.
The face of the young woman, all danger and sharp edges, quickly changed into something else behind the mask. There was a smile on her unseen lips as she beckoned the dogs.
Eeee, Cass! And Timmy! *flails* They are both so awesome. *squees* *glomps them*
This fic just keeps getting better and better! :D *bounces* I can't wait for more! :D

Bruce doesn't really get what's up with this 'kitchen' place they tell him about. He eats simple food when he's on his own, nothing fancy, and he had to do without Alfred, so... he just shrugs, mystified!
I wish one of the dogs was Ace! I took a detour and.. they aren't! man. Stupid self..
Timmy is really cool! I liked writing him a lot, he's my favorite Robin <3
I'm very glad you enjoyed it, Star! I am working on it steadily, and enjoying it a lot!

Man, I love Great Danes, and I think they're just right for this AU version of Bruce. I dunno, just the...stature of them. It feels right.
Karen! *squees* I want to know what they were up to in "Alaska" very much, I do.

Well, it wasn’t like his mother had known how to cook very well either; Bruce supposed it was a family thing.
*grin* Oh Bruce. Imagining Martha cooking as Bruce looks on in horror delights me very much, somehow...

I am pretty sure Kara has a sub-permafrost fortress! not like the Fortress, because Ultraman would find that one, but... something else. Kal had training to do!
I'm glad you like the image of Martha cooking -and failing at it- and young Bruce going :O I don't think either of them were particularly good at it -I think Martha had help when she had money and when they didn't, as long as it was edible it was okay. They are survivors.
Your Clark icon with the hat is killing me. Too. Hot. Why doesn't Clark wear a hat anymoreeee??? HATS ARE HOT. Bruce would like to lick that reporter, if it's okay with all of you.

Oooooh, subterranean Fortress, awesome!

I would never deny Bruce anything, especially if he's wearing the fur scarf! I agree, fur in RL is icky, but Earth-3 fur? Well, it's the way the world works. Like smoking! Not hot in Earth-1, Hot on Earth-3! I don't get it!
I have to go buy some bread if we're to have lunch and I don't wanna! I have no energy today and mostly want to just curl up...and maybe write. The writing is going pretty well, actually. MotS Bruce is getting his woobie on and Gotham by Gaslight Bruce is doing the Sexy Scientist routine, which makes me gleeful. :)
*slumps out to buy bread*

He definitely should too! Wotan - or Odin - was said to be exceptionally handsome and seductive, he had sacrificed one eye in pursuit of knowledge and he is accompanied by his two informant ravens Hugin and Mumin. And he is a mortal god, due to find his death in the final battle between Good and Evil, but we´re hopefully not going there, are we?
This is a really intriguing story, set in a refreshingly new AU! It seems to keep only the very core characteristics of the personnel involved instead of following the characters and their histories in DC Universe, at least for the moment, which doesn´t bother me at all! These mysteries surrounding them, the uncertainties about their intentions, make this great fun to read!
Though I must admit flinching at the depiction of Martha and Thomas Wayne in the chapter before, especially in the light of the current RIP story arc and the theories concerning the Waynes being fakes and murderers that being ( ... )

Wow. Wonderful characterization touches on Cass. Even if you hadn't identified her at the end there, I would've known just from your descriptions.
I like the building sense of tension here. Things are happening!
I mean, things are always tense on Earth 3, right? But things are happening even more than they are usually happening. If both Bruce and Kal are acting independently and as "free agents" outside of the CSA control, things just got more random and the stakes just got a lot higher.

I think the CSA doesn't have a control as tight as they thought if there is so much going on under their noses. Maybe this is earlier, before the CSA took better control of Amerika? With Bruce and the Justice Underground and Clark all working on their own, it does seem like they aren't paying enough attention. But then, even Tommy can't keep up with Bruce and Eddie when they are working together!
