I wrote this story for taro_twist's birthday, but it got.. kind of out of hand, so I'm sorry it's so late, sis! you know I love you!!

Thanks to Jen, who helped me get off my behind and finish this, and for the beta! and for the love! *glomps Jen*. This is the third part of Quiet Revelations, a series of slow introspective unwitting seduction :P

Wonderfully done, Mina! :)

I love Captain Bee and his space pirate ship! :)

Very true about our earliest memories of childhood influencing us even decades later. And if you're lucky enough to have had a happy childhood, it's even better.

Alfred is so important to Bruce! Just like Clark, he could have been raised by the State but got lucky.

Excellent job!

Thank you, Brady! I'm very glad you enjoyed this, I had lots of fun constructing Bee's adventures as a space pirate :)

I do think that the upbringing we have helps color the world a different way. I'm glad Bruce and Clark had a nice filter to put things through -it gives Bruce something to strive for, and Clark a very stable moral compass.

Thank you for reading!

Awwww! XD

So. Cute. Little Bee! Eee!

A helmet on the spaceship! ::giggles:: I love how he kinda seems to be defending his logic... even if it's his six-year-old self's logic.

Randomly, this reminds me of how one of my dad's workaholic friends... who you'd never think would even like kids... writes children's books in unreadable scrawl. XD

Little Bee will attempt to coat your heart in chocolate and bite it! he's adorably dangerous :)

Bruce will always stand by what he says, even if what he says is totally inane and was formulated by his six-year-old self. Besides. how else would you shoot a ship into space? Does Clark have any suggestions? I bet he doesn't!

Grumpy workaholics don't give the impression of being very good at children's books, do they? I kind of like to think between Bruce's imagination and his good hand with pre-teens -hit puberty and Bruce loses it, I suspect, but little children, he can totally not screw up- he did came up with some not quite inane and fun bedtimes stories for Dick :P

OMG. You realise that I totally need a "Batman: Scientist of Tomorrow!" icon, now. XD

I really like these; richly woven characterisations and a big thick slice of potential UST. Or just UFT, maybe. Ah, poor Bruce; all these good flu-plot fics banging around inspiring people and now he's gonna get cured into a woobie trope. XD

Batman is sooo a Scientist of Tomorrow. He comes up with stuff that can only be from either comics, or the future! I say future, myself.

The UST/UFT can of kind go either way right now, though I obviously side more towards UST... of the not too urgent and needy kind. If I have my way, they will sort of just.. fall into place.

I like my Bruce served woobie. I think it adds to the pretty -not that being totally badass ever hurts, but comics tend to cockblock me out of woobie most days. I get mine where I can :P

Bwahahaha!

I love how Bruce had this all penciled in to be a death-fic but Alfred was like, nuh-uh... Too much work in having you dead. You are just going to have to pull through and have this party because I already canceled one for you this month.

And that was that.

And Captain Bee is made of the win! Space pirate yar!

Yar, I say!

Yar!

*grins* Bruce would rather spend the holidays unconscious than having to be sick and all... puppy compliant-like around vengeful little bats. He's gonna be like a tigress, just lying there while the cubs play all over him and bite him and stuff. Alfred endorses that!

Space pirates, yar!! ...I must admit that's from my own childhood memories... I was Captain Smack, and I totally fought aliens and stuff! rar! no idea what kids these days imagine they are. Power Rangers...?

OMG, I think I'm instantly a Little Bee fangirl now.

Father has allied with Santa and there will be no Christmas on Earth unless we can bring the antidote back home! ROFLMAO

This is so so cute and I love this friendship aspect with the boys. I hope there's more coming.

Woo! Yay! Little Bee welcomes all fangirls into his ship. He can always use more pirate friends, yar!

Santa and Father are a formidable alliance, capable of leaving little Bee without presents for Christmas. Unthinkable! At least until he's not sick, but a month of bed rest is pretty much forever, he's not having that!

I am working on the next part already! no little Bee in that one, but Jen has me thinking about a bunny for them as younglings, so hopefully I'll be able to deliver :)
