I've been reading
Pharyngula with a devotion I usually keep for comic spoof pages. One of the reasons is, as I said earlier this year, that I missed reading all sorts of books and articles and knowing all sorts of tidbits and information that might not have that much use down the road... so since my book reading time is still short -though I have

My pervy old neuroscience professor told us once about some woman whose nerves for her foot and groin region got mixed up somehow because in the brain they're close together, so when the woman's foot got rubbed, she felt it sexually (like, more than your average foot rub). Weird stuff. But extremely fascinating.
December will be here soon enough, and then your classes will be over! Yay!

BTW, I saw your post about the dude and the dolphins. Erm. What? I mean, I love dolphins, but not.. that much. Also, prehensile genitalia. That was totally new for me.
December is close! two more weeks of finals and another one of insane final projects! woooo!

You learn something new every day.
The world is a very interesting and scary place, even without people screwing it up.
Science is awesome.

Curses on skeevy community help organizations! That would be awful, to feel ethically compromised by trying to give back to the community...
I finally fell asleep at 3:30 last night! Woe! But...at least I got caught up on a lot of comments? *yawns and wobbles* And I went to the City Hall Tax Office and they told me I had to go to the National Tax Office which is on the other side of town...so, maybe tomorrow I can try to do that...pity the wandering kitten!

I am hating the community help organizations right now. I can't get in touch with my social service lady, so I'm stuck there. Gee, sure they'll call when we're in the middle of finals, they are always... very opportune.
And gah! you need to sleep! I'm glad you caught up with a lot, but you also need your rest! so much work, so little playtime, poor kitten :( I hope you got what you needed from the tax office!
Btw, introduced me to last.fm, and it's a pretty cool way to find music and stuff. I need to share a song with you! it's so pretty! I keep forgetting.. I'll post it in a bit :)

Booo for having to get up early!! Nastyness.
*glomps you for the community thing* I agree with you totally on all that!! It's not fair that some people use shortcuts while other people do everything by the book. *scowls*

I am so disappointed on the community help organizations! I guess it's just naive on my part to think that we'll be all better if we stopped screwing each other.. I mean, it can't be easy to live of charities while you're trying to help people... but. I think there have to be better ways. *sigh* But everyone has to go through the social service and community help stage, we're cheap labor after all...
*glomps* I see you took a challenge! yay! more Star fic!

This is far more sexy than words equaling textures. XD
And yet, for some reason, I feel like magic should be involved..? heh.

Anyway, I finished my first class, said goodnight to Jen, went to the toilet and my cellphone fell into the -thankfully clean- WC.
ACK! I'm glad your cell phone still works, even if it's kind of icky. They say that the inside of a (flushed) toilet bowl is cleaner than the outside...
Boo to charities cheating! Like you, I can understand why they do it, but it probably hurts other people.

My cellphone is acting funny, but I guess that's to be expected, after the incident. This kind of thing happened a couple of times with one of my older cellphones and nothing ever happened to it! but current one is a motorola razor and those things aren't exactly sturdy. *sighs* that was a icky thing to happen, lol.
I am so angry at the charities! argggg. I have sooo many issues with my social service, I really can't wait until it's over. I want to tell on them! but I don't know to who, and.. I don't want to hurt the people who get help from them, either. Loss-loss situation, bleh.
