Since the last time I did this, some stories have been dropped, some have been written, some bunnies have gone to sleep, and there's a couple of new ones. I'm trying to cut back on the crazyness too, see if I can get *something* done instead of being all over the place ( Read more... )

Sooorry! I guess Blackwing sounds like Dick's pirate name, but Leatherwing is not much better, and that's canon!

And Dick will probably have his own crew. Full of Robins. Bruce is going to hang with Eel and other JLs... and getting busy with Officer Clark, of course.

I am oddly drawn to your pirate fic. I...don't think I'd trust anyone else in thw world to write it well, but somehow I think you can do it.

Lol, one of my rules if to not write crazy AUs. But I go back to them all the time... Clark doesn't trust Bruce in here, so that's refreshing. Bruce is all sane and Clark is all paranoid.

And I have to say that I don't know if I ever could write the pirate story, but at the very least it's a very fun world to plot. It shall keep me enterntained once I go back to school, lol.

Crazy AUs are a lot of fun for stretching the brain and giving it a change of pace from the same scenery and such. I mean, we're in a fandom in which AUs are standard in canon (so to speak)! Elseworlds are so much fun even just to think about. I'll have to try one sometime.

It's called 'The Illustrated book of Pirate Story' or somesuch. erm. I'll have to get back to you on the exact name, it's up in my room :P it does has illustrations, but not of hot pirates getting it on, sadly.

And it's great for pirate research, though it focus on the Carribean pirates. I need another book for the european pirates, woe!
