So.. I ran into Black Canary's Wedding Planner Special a few days ago, and thinking it would probably be pretty terrible, I sat down to read it for laughs. Boy, did I laugh. Yes!! We need an icon of the 'Bitch NO' face, because he just looks at him!! That is so Batman -giggles - I'm going to have to search for this one now....

Bruce is used to planning parties, after all! I guess it's part of his 'day job'? maybe? lol, I love how everyone interacts with each other in this book. McDuffie! :D

The art was so cute, I loved it! and yes, the Batman face! LOL, it cracks me up! you would say he's feeling insulted, lol X)

Yes, Bruce doesn't like much when people squeal at Batman for being cute....yea he probably won't like that at all

Heee! Thanks for posting these scans. They are indeed as cracktastic as you described.

I loved Bruce's 'I'm Batman' in the first scan. In his solo series Midnighter had his 'I've calculated every possible move' speech printed on business cards which he just handed out. I can see Bats doing something similar.

Hahaha, I love how the only people Ollie ending up telling stories to at his own party were Roy and Bruce, everyone else had wandered off.

And then Bruce steals Roy away to go play detectives! I adore Bruce so much...

Bruce and Hal are so adorable after they made up. Silver age Bruce, Barry, Hal and Ollie had a nice friendly thing going, so.. I am happy to see Bruce getting on Hal's nerves for fun! Bruce being annoying just for fun is cute in my book :3

Also, LOL at Midnighter! Yes, Bruce doing the 'I'm Batman' sounds like his shortcut to explaining how he found out. Does it matter, anyway? no it doesn't! I think it's a very Bruce-thing to do, you know? 'ahhh, all this explaining of my actions would be solved SO MUCH QUICKER with just two words...'

LOL, I didn't post lots of scans from the party itself (it was a special issue, so 40 pages!), so no, Ollie was doing the rounds :P it just happens that I.. am obsessed with Bruce X)

Yeah, Joker doesn't look quite Jokery to me. He needs to be more gaunt, more exaggerated grin.

But Batman! So adorable. At least he's letting people learn from their own mistakes. Except Roy, I guess. Why did he bring Roy of all people? Not that I'm complaining, I love Roy. And I love that Gar is at the party. Is he part of the League now?

There are pages in that comic where Joker looks downright handsome, it's weird! But he's snarking at Lex a lot so I gotta say it was pretty funny.

I don't know if Gar is in the League now that a bunch of Titans are in it! I don't think so? I didn't seen him in the last issue of JLA... but. There was so many people in it, maybe I just didn't notice. I don't know what Bruce took Roy with him! he.. likes to teach detective skills to young men, lol? that sounds so wrong, and yet...

TOO MANY WEDDINGS, URG. My brother is a complete groomzilla and one of my friends is a hyper bridezilla. My other friend is a cool, calm bride, though, but she might get crazier as the wedding approaches, as hers isn't until October. The level of insanity weddings cause baffle me.

That's Bruce! he looks smug (or annoyed, I think it depends on how tired you find him) but he helps. He's the sexiest super hero consultant around :P

Bruce Wayne: Superhero Support...I love it so. "Yes, I shall help pay off your strippers, set up a new wedding hall, decorate, investigate crime during the party...anything else?" It's that quiet, background efficiency that I adore the most! It's like...the whole DCU runs more smoothly with him around, all the while people are laughing and grumbling about how he's such a lone wolf and jerk...

I love his backstage efficiency! you need something in short notice, something weird, just, a way out of a situation, you can call Batman! he'll do something about it (and maybe mock you or be annoyed! but he won't let you down!)

That is probably one of my biggest Batman buttons, lol. Press it and I flop down in seizures of mewling! it's such a mary sue thing, too, haha. 'But they'll be sorry when I'm gone!' X) but.. the awesome thing is that Bruce never says that! so.. all the nice things of the trope without the petty selfishness! WHY, BATMAN, I LOVE YOU.
