OH. This! Mina, this! This is amazing. I really love Clark's dignity despite what he's being put through. And then the rallying of the JL around him, because they totally would do that. For him. And Bruce! Being all sneaky on New Krypton and then coming and telling Clark nothing and everything at the same time. :D
Bweee! yay! I'm glad you liked this, Kate! I love Clark's strength and his selflessness so much, he's not a victim, you know? He's in control at all times, even when he's in such tight situations. And the JL would never let Clark alone! talk about a pillar to the community. I love how flexible they are as a team, writing their ninja takeover of the bases was fun, but it was even more fun to imagine it, lol.
Bruce was in NK, hanging out with Alura! haha, I wanted to show a bit of Bruce and Alura, but alas, it was not meant to be. I think they would get along pretty well :P Of course he didn't end up saying anything, but.. he said everything he needed to, at least. And Clark, once he's better, will catch up, I'm sure :) those two really don't need to say much to get to the smooching :P thankk youuu for reading :D
That was intense and beautiful! I hated that Clark's friends couldn't stop his suffering but Clark understood he had helped them won the war by undergoing so much pain and humiliation. And I loved Bruce being so tender to Clark and holding him through those terrible nights! The h/c here was marvellous!
Thank you! Very glad you liked this!! I felt really bad for Clark too, because his friends really wanted to help... but they are all very disciplined and know that sacrifices must be made sometimes. Clark was a real champ, too, he really didn't care :P Bruce was very grumpy with me because he didn't want to see Clark in pain, but I'm sure there's going to be a lot of cuddles in his future, so... :P I'm glad you liked the h/c!
