Meme stuff

I'm stealing these because I asked for more than a bunch of drabbles from other people, so it seems it's only fair to reciprocate.

The first fifteen people to comment on this post get to request a drabble from you. In return, they have to post this meme in their journal. Post all fandoms you’re willing to write for.DC fandom, though I can probably ( Read more... )

A Star on Earth, G (728 words) arch_schatten October 28 2007, 20:18:24 UTC
Hey Rai! I'm happy to return the favor :) I'm having lots of fun with the prompts, and I too love h/c! so let's see what I can do to put both of your requests together!

Aughh!! sorry about the double comment. I'm sucking at self beta!"Forty-eight hours quarantine," Dr. Midnight had said, the words ringing like a death sentence in Batman's ears. Containment. Seclusion. No human contact; just solitude and time to think and heal ( ... )

*pets Bruce*

Bruce was going to punch Hal in the mouth when he got out of quarantine. "It's a safe atmosphere, Batman. The ring reports it can sustain human life." He was going to punch him in the mouth so hard he was going to be digesting his own teeth for the next two months.

Would that be with one punch, Bruce? ;)

Bruce never took Clark's injuries well, though Clark tried not to feel too special, since he also freaked out when Diana or J'onn were badly injured. It seemed to go against his understanding of the laws of nature, and Bruce had great faith in the laws of the universe, if in nothing else.

Poor Bruce.

After a while, a whisper came from the shadows. "Don't ever burn out."

*glomps Bruce*

He had plenty of time to think how to make it up to his worried Bat.

Yes! Make it up to him, Clark! :)

Awww, this was lovely!

Tehee! Glad you liked, Star :) Bruce was mounting on yesterday's stubbornness and adding a layer of violence. He was cracking me up with the punch in the mouth -those are wildly satisfying! :P

Bruce trusts physics. If you apply the worlds invulnerable to three members of your team, they better be it, or he freaks out. He doesn't like to see people hurt, I think, but he's never prepared to see Clark hurt.

Clark is thinking to tease him about being a Star for a while until Bruce caves and much smooching ensues! I approve of that plan :)

Oh Mina, I love how angry your Bruce gets when Clark is hurt! The world is so unfair! How dare it hurt him! *rolls around* And Clark's puzzlement (If I'm sick, why is he delirious?) is so delicious. Delectable!

After a while, a whisper came from the shadows. "Don't ever burn out."

Mrrrrow! *purrs wildly* Thank you, thank you...

:) Bruce doesn't like anyone messing with the people he loves, and whenever Clark gets hurt, he is totally blindsided by it. It's unnatural! Clark, hurt! He will hurt, main, destroy so that doesn't ever happen again!

Clark doesn't know what's up with the purple prose Bat. He must have picked up a crazy bacteria too :) But he makes it up by making slightly more sense from the shadows. I'm glad you liked this! The boys were very cooperative with the h/c :)

OH, Oh, OOooooooooooh. O.O
I love this, Mina! WEEEEEE!! XD
Hurt/comfort and worried Bat! Perrrrrrrrrfect!!!

Hal had apologized profusely, saying over and over that the bacteria only attacked plants; he hadn't thought it would jump species.

*can't stop giggling about the image of the Kryptonian carrying out photosynthesis with his toes digging under the ground*

"If I thought you weren't going to be, I would punch you in the mouth too. Teach you not to give up on me."

Awwww, how sweet... Clark is his star!! *squees from joy*

And the last word from Bruce is... beautiful and heartbreaking. Yes, make up to your worried Bat, Clark! Mmm, I can imagine the continuation will be another hurt/comfort... (mostly comfort! XD)

Thank you very much, Mina. I could imagine all this story as a comic in my mind eyes. Clark in containtment, Bruce looking at him through the glass and his whisper from the darkness... *happy sigh*

I can't say enough how happy I am. Thank yoooou! *glomps*

Yay!! I'm so glad you liked this, Rai! I'm sorry I'm so late to reply, school was driving me crazy :) I hope the h/c and the worried Bat covered your request :)

LOL, Clark carrying on photosynthesis was something.. no one in that team was expecting. But he kind of does, doesn't he? maybe? :P Comic-books science!

Clark is definitely very star-like for Bruce. But Clark will make up for worrying him, I'm sure! lots of comforting the Bat ;) I'm so happy you could see this so clearly! I love that feeling so I'm really glad I could give it to you :) Woot!
