[This was proving to be a very irritating place. Hibari stares at the small communication device, obviously not very happy (though how much of that was due to his altered appearance, and how much of it was due to his general distaste of this world was unknown).]

[Rubs the back of his neck wearily. He had actually expected him to do that.

Walks right up to his door, knocking on it.] I know you don't like the entire "affiliation" concept, but we both are Guardians for the Vongola. You can at least try to find it in your heart to help me out here. I want to get out of this place as soon as possible. [A long pause. His tone lowers at his next words.] We still have to stop Byakuran.

[A near-silent sigh here - it would have been lost, if it not were for the fact that his back was resting against the door as he spoke to the other outside.]

He can't accept that. Shaking his head in shock, he backs away from the door slowly, refusing to believe his words.] Th-There has to be some way.

The Tenth. His mind spirals with the thought of never seeing him again. He'd be lying if he hadn't actually had some hope the younger Tsuna would be able to bring his Boss back alive.

[The suggestion that he simply hadn't tried hard enough to escape had him snarling - how dare the other assume such things. The door is yanked open with enough force to pull it from its hinges, and he glares at the other, murderous aura almost visible. His next words are almost spat out in his fury, his fingers twitching, just wanting to wrap around that throat and squeeze for the insult to his pride.]

[A deep breath, before he continues, somewhat more calmly.]

The source of the problem lies within the castle in the centre of the island. The so-called rulers of the island control each and every single thing that happens here. If they do not want you to leave, you do not leave.

[If it isn't for the seriousness of this entire situation, he would probably be praising himself for getting Hibari out of his room. As it is though, he isn't exactly in the best mood for his usual humor. He knows he is treading dangerous grounds right now. But, frankly, he can use a good fight. Maybe it'll release some of the frustration pent up inside of him from these past few years. Hell, he doesn't even care that he'll end up beaten to a pulp. It'd be worth it.]

Are you just going to give up then? [snaps the question at him, standing his ground] If everyone wants to get out of here and the problem lies in this castle, then we can form a plan to penetrate it. [can practically feel a bit of hope rising in his chest] It might take time and preparation, and we might have to find people who are willing to help. But... But it's doable, right? [looks at him hopefully, almost like a lost child who thinks he's found a way home to his mother]
